3M Imperial Microfinishing Compound, Paste - 1 Gallon Can

 

A medium cut, machine applied, paste rubbing compound to remove 1200 grit sanding marks, coarse swirl marks or heavy oxidation. Apply with a slow speed buffer and a closed cell foam polishing pad. Buff out with a slow speed buffer and a closed cell foam finishing pad. The compound must be followed with an application of either 3M Imperial Hand Glaze, 3M Foam Pad Polishing Glaze or 3M Liquid Cleaner Wax and finally a coat of wax. Compounds are very aggressive, so should be used very carefully.
